Gainesville’s Repair and Restoration Artisans of Pianos, Keyboards, Guitars, Effects, and Amplifiers

Gear For Sale

Occasionally I sell instruments I've restored, repaired, or no longer need for my own recording and playing. All items are sold as-is from a private collection in Gainesville, FL. Prices include local pickup; shipping available at actual cost (contact me to discuss). Cash, Venmo, or PayPal (friends/family) accepted. No returns—please ask questions and request more photos before buying.

90-Day Limited Repair Warranty: As the tech who serviced these pieces, I'm happy to stand behind my work. For 90 days, if a covered defect from my repairs appears, I'll handle diagnosis and repair at no charge (Gainesville drop-off ideal). Excludes abuse, accidental damage, or issues unrelated to my service. This is a goodwill warranty from a private seller—not a commercial guarantee.

Important: These are used/pre-owned items sold privately. Descriptions are based on my inspection and testing. No warranties expressed or implied. Sold "as-is, where-is."

Contact: Text/call (352) 325-1222 or email greg@keyandcable.com for more photos, audio demo clips, or to arrange viewing/pickup in Gainesville, FL.

Suzuki Omnichord OM-84

$1,050

Suzuki Omnichord OM-84, thoroughly serviced and ready for a new home.

  • Finished recap, checked functionality
  • Maintenance performed: Cleaned contacts/buttons, General cleaning/detailing
  • Excellent condition
  • NEW Bear Creek soft case
  • New 12V center negative power supply
  • Reverse Polarity Protection (RPP) installed — RPP guards the unit against being damaged by the wrong power supply or a reversed-polarity adapter - a common cause of death for vintage Omnichords, so this is real, lasting protection going forward.
  • Fully recapped — All of the original electrolytic capacitors have been replaced - the single most common point of failure in an instrument this age, so this resets the clock on that risk.
  • CMOS logic chips replaced/socketed — The original CMOS logic chips are another common failure point on these; replacing or socketing them means a future chip failure is a quick swap, not a full repair.
